    The IT Support Specialist role is to provide a high level of PC hardware and software support for our local and remote users. The role provides a variety of responsibilities and no two days are the same

    Responsibilities

    • Works autonomous and independent day-to-day, however regularly checks in with Manager for strategic direction
    • Provides PC hardware and software support for local and remote users
    • Diagnoses PC problems via phone, chat, remote control of desktops or desk-side visit
    • Assists with relocation of Colleague technology when moving offices / cubes
    • Provides support for Mobile Device Technology (iPhone, iPads, Android Phones and Tablets, etc.)
    • Provides local hands-on support assistance for other IT Teams
    • Maintains up-to-date tickets and configuration items (CIs)
    • Supports specific and key internal applications and serve as a team member on special projects
    • Works as a liaison between the IT department and other departments throughout the organization
    • Provides support for printers, access control and other assigned systems
    • Works and supports within the local and global IT teams
    • Provides after hours support and maintenance as required
    • Good English skills in speaking, reading and writing

    Qualifications

    • College Degree in Computer Science (or equivalent combination of education and/or business experience)
    • Minimum of 2 years related business experience
    • Demonstrated ability to understand and anticipate the needs of the employees and to provide solutions and recommendations that work in the real world as it relates to operations
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Demonstration of interpersonal skills necessary to maintain positive relationships with employee
    • Strong knowledge and experience with MS Windows/OS-X desktop operating systems, PC/Mac hardware, mobile device technology
    • Ability to quickly adapt to changing priorities and pivot to meet immediate business needs; fast work environment
    • Basic understanding of network troubleshooting tasks (Ping, Traceroute, IP Config,)
